             abstract = "In a global and meso scale, land cover conversion have been 
                         occurred intensively, mainly in the tropics the region where 
                         mostly forest reminiscent are located. The Mato Grosso State, 
                         localized in the Brazilian Amazon has a rich and under treat 
                         biodiversity in the Amazonia and Cerrado biomes. In this context, 
                         we proposed the cartographic actualization of the land cover map 
                         for this region for 2002 to 2004, and quantify the land cover 
                         changes in this period.",
